Ep 13. Radio Bart

Bart receives a microphone as a birthday present from his Aunt Selma and decides to prank the entire town of Springfield with fake radio broadcasts. One day, while fooling around with his microphone near a well, Bart accidentally drops the device down the well and ends up getting stuck inside. The town rallies together to save Bart, with the media attention soon turning him into a national celebrity. Taking advantage of his newfound fame, Bart starts a hunger strike inside the well to demand a swimming pool be built for Springfield's less fortunate children. Meanwhile, Krusty the Clown experiences a crisis of conscience and decides to quit his job after accidentally showing a graphic Itchy & Scratchy episode on his show. The episode ends with Bart safely rescued from the well and Krusty's newfound career as a social commentator.
