Marge Simpson is feeling neglected by her family. Bart and Lisa are too busy with their own things to spend time with her, and Homer is only interested in lounging on the couch and watching TV. Feeling alone and forgotten, Marge decides to take up a new hobby: painting.
As Marge becomes more and more absorbed in her painting, she starts to neglect her other responsibilities, like cooking dinner and doing laundry. Meanwhile, a thunderstorm is brewing outside, and when the power goes out, the family is left in the dark.
But when the power comes back on, something strange has happened—Marge has disappeared. The family searches frantically for her, but she is nowhere to be found. As they search for clues about her disappearance, they begin to realize that they may not have been paying enough attention to Marge and her struggles.
Left Behind is an emotional episode that explores the relationship between a mother and her family. It is a reminder that even though we may take our loved ones for granted at times, they are always there for us, and we should never take them for granted.
