After feeling cooped up in the house all winter, Marge and Homer decide to try their hand at curling - a winter sport played on ice with stones and brooms. They quickly become addicted to the game and start competing in a local tournament, where they meet a married couple from Sweden named Greta and Gunnar. The pair are Olympic gold medalists in curling and become Marge and Homer's new coaches.
As Marge and Homer continue to improve their curling skills under Greta and Gunnar's guidance, their marriage starts to suffer as they begin to get competitive with each other. Meanwhile, Lisa and Bart start their own curling team with their friends, but struggle to find motivation to compete.
Eventually, Marge and Homer's obsession with curling leads them to qualify for the Olympic team trials, where they face off against Greta and Gunnar. But as tensions rise and tempers flare, Marge and Homer realize that their love for each other is more important than any sport.
In the end, the family comes together to support Lisa and Bart's curling team, teaching them that it's not about winning or losing, but about having fun and spending time with the people you love.
