In The Simpsons season 19 episode 1, titled "He Loves to Fly and He D'ohs," the Simpson family decides to take a trip to the Grand Canyon. While en route, Homer meets a pilot who invites him to take the controls of the plane for a little while. Initially nervous, Homer soon finds himself enjoying the experience and becomes interested in pursuing a career as a pilot.
Despite Marge's reservations about Homer's idea, he sets off to obtain his pilot's license. However, things don't go quite as planned as Homer struggles to grasp the necessary concepts and skills needed for flight school. He receives tutelage from a beautiful instructor named Simone, which only serves to complicate matters further.
Meanwhile, Bart becomes fixated on a new video game that prompts him to collect a variety of "Krusty coupons." He becomes so obsessed with the game that he begins stealing the coupons from his classmates and running scams to acquire more. The situation eventually escalates and lands him in detention, leading him to realize the error of his ways.
