When Bart becomes the victim of an elaborate prank by school bully Nelson Muntz, he looks to his longtime friend and confidant Milhouse for support. However, Milhouse is more interested in spending time with his new girlfriend Samantha than helping Bart deal with his humiliation. Feeling betrayed, Bart begins to distance himself from Milhouse and seeks revenge against Nelson on his own.
Meanwhile, Marge is concerned about the state of her marriage to Homer, who seems more interested in spending time with his buddies than with her. Seeking advice from neighbor Ruth Powers, Marge decides to try and spice things up in the bedroom by wearing a pair of patent leather boots.
As the episode progresses, both storylines converge when Samantha reveals herself to be Nelson's cousin and orchestrates an elaborate scheme to get revenge on Bart for his retaliation against Nelson. The plan involves tricking Bart into thinking he has finally found a true friend in Samantha, only to reveal her true identity at a humiliating moment.
In the end, Bart and Milhouse reconcile their friendship, while Marge and Homer rediscover their passion for each other. As always, the episode is full of humor, heart, and social commentary that has made The Simpsons a beloved cultural institution for over three decades.
