Homer finds himself in hot water when he inadvertently makes a political statement at a local talent show. Meanwhile, Marge agrees to teach a class on reading maps, but her class is hijacked by a group of militant anti-mappers who are opposed to what they see as "the tyranny of lines." Finally, Bart tries to rescue the victims of a prank war being waged by a gang of bullies, but ends up getting pulled into the fray himself. As the episode continues, the family must navigate these various challenges and figure out how to come together in the face of adversity. Along the way, there are plenty of laughs and poignant moments that remind us why The Simpsons has been a beloved part of television for nearly three decades. With its trademark mix of satire, heart, and humor, Yokel Chords is a standout episode that will leave viewers of all ages entertained and uplifted.
