In The Simpsons season 15 episode 10, titled "Diatribe of a Mad Housewife", Marge starts a blog detailing the goings-on in Springfield and her everyday life as a housewife. Initially, she receives a lot of recognition and even wins an award for her blog, but when she starts to vent about her frustrations with Homer and her life in general, she attracts a following of angry and bitter women who are also dissatisfied with their marriages and domestic lives.
Marge becomes the leader of this group and decides to stage a protest in front of the Springfield courthouse in order to get attention for their cause. However, the protest becomes chaotic, with the women looting stores and causing destruction all over town. Marge realizes that she has gone too far and tries to calm everyone down, but it is too late - the whole town is in chaos.
Meanwhile, Homer decides to go on a mission to find a new hair growth treatment after being teased for his baldness once again. He goes through a variety of absurd methods, including a toupee made out of Bart's hair and a machine that supposedly stimulates hair growth through electric shocks. In the end, Homer discovers a product that actually works, but his hair growth comes at a cost.
"Diatribe of a Mad Housewife" is a satirical take on the phenomenon of mommy bloggers and the trend of oversharing on social media. The episode shows how quickly a seemingly innocent blog can turn into a harmful movement when people begin to band together and feed off of each other's negative energy. Additionally, the episode continues to poke fun at Homer's vanity and his never-ending search for a quick fix to his problems.
Overall, "Diatribe of a Mad Housewife" is a hilarious and thought-provoking episode of The Simpsons that examines the dangers of groupthink and the consequences of chasing after the latest fad.
