In The Simpsons season 13 episode 18 "I am Furious Yellow," Bart is inspired to create his own comic book after discovering a passion for drawing. He creates a character named "Angry Dad," which is a fictionalized version of his own father, Homer. The comic is a hit, and soon Bart is offered a deal to turn it into an animated series.
However, things quickly take a turn for the worse when the network executives completely change Angry Dad's character and turn it into a show full of product placements and cheap gags. Bart becomes disillusioned with the industry and decides to take a stand against the corporate greed that has corrupted his creation. Meanwhile, Homer struggles to understand why Bart is so upset and turns to an anger management class for help.
The episode touches on themes of artistic integrity, corporate greed, and the importance of staying true to oneself. With its trademark humor and wit, "I am Furious Yellow" offers a satirical take on the world of animation and the struggles of creatives in the entertainment industry.
