Bart Simpson has a new crush in town and he's dead set on winning her heart. The object of his affection is a teenage girl named Greta, who he met at the family's local candy store. While Bart is smitten with her, it's clear she's more interested in a boy her own age, leaving Bart to scheme his way into her heart.
Meanwhile, Homer is less than thrilled to find that his daughter Lisa is hoarding his precious supply of bacon. In an effort to get it back, he enlists the help of his son Bart, who agrees to steal it from Lisa's stash. However, Bart's plan to win Greta over interferes with his scheme to snag the bacon, leading to a series of mishaps and misunderstandings.
As the episode progresses, Bart becomes increasingly desperate to impress Greta, going so far as to impersonate a wealthy and cultured foreigner. With the help of some friends, he creates an elaborate backstory to convince Greta he's the man of her dreams. Her interest in him grows, but Bart eventually realizes the deception can't last forever.
In a heartwarming twist, Bart comes clean to Greta about his true identity and she forgives him, revealing that she liked him all along for who he was. The two share a sweet moment and Bart learns the valuable lesson that sometimes being yourself is the best way to win someone's heart.
Meanwhile, Lisa discovers the truth about Bart's plot to steal her bacon and enlists their parents to seek revenge. The episode concludes with a hilarious showdown between the siblings, cementing their playful sibling rivalry for another day.
