In The Simpsons season 12 episode 1, titled "Treehouse of Horror XI," viewers are taken on a spooky journey through three different Halloween-themed tales.
The first segment, "G-G-Ghost D-D-Dad," features Homer reappearing as a ghost after his death in a workplace accident. However, his ghostly presence only brings chaos and destruction to the Simpson household as he struggles to let go of his old life.
Next up is "Scary Tales Can Come True," where Bart and Lisa find themselves trapped in a sinister fairy tale world, complete with wicked witches, talking frogs, and devious fairies. They must use their intelligence and resourcefulness to fight their way through the twisted narrative and make it back home safely.
Finally, the episode concludes with "Night of the Dolphin," a hilarious yet terrifying tale of revenge from the marine mammals. When Lisa frees a group of dolphins from captivity, she unknowingly sets off a chain reaction of events that leads to the vengeful creatures taking over the town and making humans their slaves.
As with previous "Treehouse of Horror" episodes, viewers can expect a healthy dose of dark humor, clever pop culture references, and plenty of scares. Fans of the series will surely enjoy this spooky addition to the long-running show's repertoire.
