Homer, however, is less than thrilled about the holiday and refuses to participate in any romantic gestures with Marge. Meanwhile, Apu has planned an extravagant evening for his wife Manjula, but his preparations become increasingly chaotic as he tries to juggle multiple tasks at once.
Elsewhere, Lisa is dismayed when her classmate Ralph Wiggum develops a crush on her and begins showering her with gifts. Despite her attempts to let him down gently, Ralph remains persistent in his affection for Lisa.
As the town celebrates Valentine's Day, a mysterious figure dressed as Cupid begins to shoot people with love arrows. Love and romance run rampant throughout Springfield, with unexpected couples popping up left and right. Meanwhile, Homer struggles to come up with a heartfelt Valentine's Day gesture for Marge and seeks help from an unlikely source.
As the evening progresses and the chaos of the holiday reaches its peak, the residents of Springfield are forced to confront their true feelings for one another. Will Apu manage to salvage his Valentine's Day plans for Manjula? Will Lisa be able to find a way to let Ralph down gently? And most importantly, will Homer be able to save his marriage by pulling off a grand romantic gesture for Marge?
"I'm With Cupid" is a heartwarming and humorous episode that explores the many different facets of love and romance. With plenty of laughs and unexpected twists, it's a perfect Valentine's Day episode for fans of The Simpsons.
