Ep 2. The Sword of the Holy Knight

The Seven Deadly Sins season 1 episode 2, titled The Sword of the Holy Knight, picks up where the previous episode left off, as Elizabeth and Meliodas travel to the town of Bernia to search for one of the other Sins. Meanwhile, Griamore succeeds in rescuing his father, only to have him turn out to be the famous Holy Knight Dreyfus, who had gone missing many years ago. Dreyfus reveals that the Seven Deadly Sins were responsible for the destruction of the kingdom of Danafor, and that he wants revenge on them.

As night falls, the Holy Knights launch a full-scale attack on the town, using their powerful abilities to destroy everything in their path. The episode ends with Meliodas picking up a sword that he believes belongs to one of the other Sins, and using it to confront the advancing Knights.
