Ep 1. Falling in Love

In the meantime, Amy confides in her two best friends, Lauren and Madison Cooperstein (played by Renee Olstead), about her feelings towards Ricky. They warn her about how Ricky has a reputation for using girls, but Amy remains adamant that he is different with her.

As Amy's pregnancy is revealed to her parents, Anne Juergens (played by Molly Ringwald) and George Juergens (played by Mark Derwin), they struggle to come to terms with the news. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, as George admits to Anne that he has been cheating on her with his former flame, Cindy.
