The Secret Life of Pets is a hilarious animated movie that premiered in 2016, and is now available on Animal Planet. The movie follows the adventures of Max (voiced by Louis C.K.), a pampered terrier who is the darling of his owner Katie's life. Max's world is turned upside down when Katie brings home Duke (voiced by Eric Stonestreet), a giant and unruly furry beast that Max cannot stand.

When Katie is away, Max and Duke are left at home with a host of other pets, including a love-struck poodle, a tabby cat, and a deranged bunny who is planning revenge against humans. Chaos ensues as the pets try to get their own way and bicker amongst themselves.

Things take a dark turn when Max and Duke get lost in the city and have to team up to get back to their loving owner. The journey is fraught with peril and they must face off against a crazed gang of alley cats, a pack of abandoned pets, and an army of sewer-dwelling creatures.

Throughout their wild and hilarious journey, Max and Duke learn to put their differences aside and become best friends. They also realize that they are not the only pets with a secret life, and that every animal has their own special quirks and habits.

The standout performance in The Secret Life of Pets is from Kevin Hart, who plays Snowball, the maniacal bunny who will stop at nothing to get back at humans for abandonment. Snowball's antics are the highlight of the movie, as he goes on a rampage through the city with his army of abandoned pets.

One of the things that make this movie so enjoyable is the imaginative world it creates, in which pets have personalities and lives of their own. The animators have done an excellent job of infusing each character with unique quirks and mannerisms, making them memorable and relatable. The voice cast is also top-notch, with each actor bringing their own sense of humor and personality to their roles.
