Ep 1. Prisoner of the Judoon, Part 1

In the first episode of season 3 of The Sarah Jane Adventures, titled "Prisoner of the Judoon, Part 1," Sarah Jane and her gang find themselves in the midst of an intergalactic trial. They are not just interested in capturing the Shape-Shifter; they are also looking to acquire a powerful alien artifact that is hidden somewhere on Earth. The artifact has the power to control the minds of whoever possesses it, and the Judoon will stop at nothing to get their hands on it.

In the cliffhanger ending of the episode, Sarah Jane and her gang are captured by the Judoon and taken to their ship. They are locked up in a cell with Mr. Smith, and it seems that all hope is lost. But as the Judoon prepare to depart from Earth, Sarah Jane hatches a daring plan to escape and stop the Judoon from achieving their sinister goals.
