Ep 1. The Last Sontaran, Part 1

Sarah Jane Smith, the former companion of the Doctor, is back in action investigating the strange and unusual occurrences happening in the world. In this episode, we see Sarah Jane and her team consisting of her teenage neighbor Maria, Maria's friend Luke, and their supercomputer Mr. Smith, investigate a series of bizarre thefts around the city.

Meanwhile, a group of Sontarans, a warlike alien race, have landed on Earth with a plan to destroy it. The Sontarans have kidnapped a brilliant scientist, Professor Nicholas Skinner, who has developed a dangerous weapon that they plan to use to destroy the planet.

The Sontarans have brought in their top soldier, Commander Kaagh, to carry out their plan. However, Kaagh is not like the other Sontarans. He is more intelligent and cunning, and he has his own agenda.

As Sarah Jane and her team investigate the thefts, they stumble upon the Sontarans' plan and find themselves in a dangerous situation. They must find a way to stop the Sontarans before it's too late.

Along the way, Sarah Jane and the team meet another Sontaran, the young and naive Rani, who has defected and is looking for a new home. Sarah Jane takes Rani under her wing and learns more about the Sontaran race.

The first part of this two-part episode sets up the action and introduces the characters and their motivations. It's a fast-paced and exciting episode that sets up for a thrilling conclusion in part two.
