Ep 2. Devil's Contract

After saving a young woman from a band of thieves, Cecily meets with the Sacred Blacksmith, Luke Ainsworth, to discuss her newly acquired sword. Luke analyzes her weapon and discovers that it is actually a forging tool created by his father. The two then discuss the history of their families and how they are intertwined.

The peaceful atmosphere is interrupted when a knight named Siegfried arrives in town with his maid, Lisa. He is searching for a powerful demon sword that was stolen from his family's collection. The sword is said to be able to grant immense power to its wielder, but at a grave cost.

Cecily and Luke agree to help Siegfried retrieve the sword and they travel to the forest where it was last seen. Along the way, Cecily admits her lack of experience in battle and fears she may not be able to hold her own against the dangers that lie ahead.

As they near their destination, they encounter a group of devil worshippers who have gained possession of the demon sword. Cecily engages them in battle but quickly learns that her skills are no match for their dark powers. In a moment of desperation, she makes a deal with one of the worshippers, promising to hand over Luke's forging hammer in exchange for the demon sword.

Despite Luke's warning, Cecily presents the hammer to the devil worshipper and is handed the demon sword. However, the sword's power proves too much for her to handle and it begins to take control of her mind and body. Cecily's life now hangs in the balance as Luke and Siegfried fight to save her and retrieve the demon sword.

In the end, they are victorious and the demon sword is sealed away. However, Cecily is left to reflect on the cost of making deals with the devil and the importance of relying on her own abilities rather than surrendering to temptation.

The episode ends with a touching moment between Cecily and Luke as they reaffirm their friendship and vow to continue fighting together.
