Ep 1. Pilot

The Rookie is a crime drama TV series that follows the story of John Nolan, a man in his 40s who has decided to become a police officer after a life-changing experience. In season 1 episode 1, titled Pilot, we are introduced to Nolan as he embarks on this new journey.

From there, the episode goes on to explore the challenges that Nolan faces as a rookie police officer, both on and off the job. He struggles to balance his personal life with his new career, and he has to navigate the complexities of working in law enforcement, including dealing with difficult suspects and other dangerous situations.

Overall, season 1 episode 1 of The Rookie is a strong start to the series. It sets up the premise of the show well and introduces us to the main characters, while leaving us wanting to know more about their stories. The episode does a good job of balancing the drama and action, and we get a good sense of the high stakes involved in being a police officer.
