Ep 18. South by Southeast

Jim Rockford is a private investigator who is hired by one of his old Navy buddies, Nick Corelli, to help him find his missing sister, Angela. Nick's sister is apparently involved with some shady characters and has gone missing after leaving a dance club called the "South by Southeast". Jim decides to take the case and begins his investigation by going to the club and interviewing witnesses who may have seen Angela on the night she disappeared.

As Jim starts to ask around at the club, he meets a woman named Megan who seems to know more than she's letting on. Soon after, Megan is found murdered, and Jim realizes that he may have stumbled onto something bigger than just a missing person case. He starts to investigate deeper into Angela's disappearance and finds out that she was involved with a drug dealer named Smitty who operates out of the club.

Jim starts to piece together the puzzle and realizes that Smitty is running a major drug operation out of the club. He starts to follow Smitty and his henchmen and eventually discovers the location of their drug stash. While he's investigating, Angela is found dead, and Jim is convinced that Smitty and his henchmen are responsible for her death. He decides to take matters into his own hands and plans a sting operation to bring down Smitty and his drug ring.

Jim's old friend Nick shows up to help, and together they work to catch Smitty in the act. In a thrilling action-packed finale, Jim and Nick break into Smitty's stash house and find themselves in a dangerous standoff with Smitty and his armed henchmen. After a tense showdown, Jim and Nick are able to bring Smitty and his henchmen to justice and shut down their drug operation.

In the end, Jim is able to solve the mystery of Angela's disappearance and bring closure to Nick and his family. The episode ends on a bittersweet note, with Jim reflecting on the dangers and risks involved in his line of work and the toll it can take on those he cares about. But despite the risks, Jim knows that he is driven by a deep sense of justice and a desire to help those in need, no matter what the cost.
