Jim Rockford, a private investigator, is hard-pressed to make ends meet in sunny California, but his eagle eye and knack for picking locks keep him afloat. In season 3 episode 11 of The Rockford Files, titled "The Trouble with Warren," Rockford is hired to investigate the suspicious death of Warren Fowler, a wealthy businessman.
Warren's wife, Carol, is convinced that her husband was killed for his money. She hires Rockford to find proof of Warren's murder so that she can bring his killer to justice.
