Jim Rockford is a private investigator who has had his license revoked and is forced to live in a trailer park while trying to make ends meet. In season 1 episode 13, titled "Profit and Loss (1)", Rockford is hired by a wealthy businessman named Ed Forester to find his missing son. Ed is worried that his son Craig has gotten involved with the wrong crowd and is in danger.
