Ep 7. The Savior of the Heavenly Fowl

Naofumi and Raphtalia arrive at a village where they learn of a sacred bird, the Filolial Queen, which is about to give birth. A local bandit named Idol, who had been terrorizing the village, plans to steal the eggs of the Filolial Queen in order to eat them and make quick money. Naofumi and Raphtalia decide to protect the queen and her eggs from Idol and his men.

They meet the owner of the Filolial Queen, a young girl named Fitoria, who is not only the queen's caretaker but also the queen's summoner. Fitoria informs Naofumi that the queen's offspring are paramount to the survival of their world as they have the power to create an army that can defend against the Waves. She also reveals that there are three other hero summoners and that they need to work together to defeat the Waves.

As Naofumi and Raphtalia protect the eggs, they are ambushed by Idol's men. But with Raphtalia's help, Naofumi defeats them. The Filolial Queen eventually gives birth to her offspring, and Fitoria is pleased with Naofumi's and Raphtalia's help. She gives them a gift, a special gem which can be used to summon the Filolial Queen, and asks them to come to her if they need her help in the future.

However, Naofumi's calm is short-lived as he is approached by a mysterious woman named Myne. She informs him that she is the princess of Melromarc and that she needs his help to defeat a giant monster known as the Spirit Turtle, which has been causing destruction across the kingdom. Naofumi is hesitant to help her, but Myne claims that if they do not defeat the Spirit Turtle, it will destroy the world.

The episode ends with Naofumi agreeing to help Myne, but Raphtalia is suspicious of her true intentions.
