In "The Repair Shop" Season 3 Episode 8, the team takes on three very different restoration projects. First, the family heirloom Wall Clock arrives in the workshop in disrepair and completely missing its glass panels and hands. The owner hopes that Restoration Expert Steven Fletcher can bring the clock back to life and keep it running for another 200 years. Steven goes to work on the clock, finding that it needs more than just a few repairs, but he is determined to make it work again to its former glory.

Next, Sadie from Sussex brings in a vintage Piano Make-up Compact that belonged to her grandmother. The compact is in rough condition with its mirror detached and the mechanism for opening and closing the container not working. The team puts together an intricate plan and begins the task of piecing it back together. They need to be very careful as they restore the compact because it has a very significant sentimental value to the owner, and the team wants to ensure it looks as good as possible.

Lastly, a baby cradle from the 1940s is brought in by owner Elizabeth, who wants to breathe new life into it as a gift for her son's first child. The cradle is falling apart and needs extensive repair work. While leather specialist Suzie Fletcher concentrates on repairing the cradle's leather straps, woodworker Will Kirk focuses on repairing the cradle's intricate wooden carvings. As the team works on the cradle, they uncover a few surprises along the way, including some old coins hidden inside.

The Repair Shop is a heartwarming, feel-good show that combines the nostalgia of family heirlooms with the hard work of skilled artisans.
