Ep 6. The Weaker Sex?

The Real McCoys revolves around a family of farmers, who move from West Virginia to California in search of a better life. The patriarch, Grandpa Amos McCoy (played by Walter Brennan), leads the charge and his family, including his wife, daughter, and two grandchildren, follow him to the Golden State.

As the episode progresses, both Luke and Kate find that their preconceived notions about the opposite sex are challenged. Luke realizes that women are just as capable as men and that they deserve to be treated as equals. Kate, on the other hand, finds the courage to speak up for herself and realizes that she doesn't need a man to be happy.
