In The Real Housewives of New York City season 9 episode 8, titled "Return of the Berzerkshires," the ladies head out of the city for a weekend getaway at Dorinda Medley's Berkshires home. However, as history has shown, the trips to the Berkshires are never drama-free.
One of the main storylines of the episode focuses on the relationship between Ramona Singer and Bethenny Frankel. Ramona has been trying to make amends with Bethenny after their falling out last season, but Bethenny is hesitant to fully forgive her. Tensions rise when Ramona brings up a past argument between the two, leading Bethenny to question whether Ramona is truly sorry for her actions.
Meanwhile, Tinsley Mortimer, the newest housewife, is struggling to adjust to life in New York City and is feeling left out of the group. She opens up to Carole Radziwill and explains how difficult it is to move to a new city and make new friends, especially when they all have such a long and complicated history.
As the group indulges in their wine and relaxation, tensions continue to rise between the ladies. A game of truth or dare reveals some shocking secrets, causing some of the women to become emotional and others to become angry.
At one point, the housewives decide to take a trip to a local pub for some drinks and karaoke. Things take a turn for the worse when Sonja Morgan drunkenly tries to get on stage and perform, causing a scene and embarrassing the group.
Overall, "Return of the Berzerkshires" is a classic Real Housewives episode filled with drama, tears, and plenty of wine. The ladies may be getting away from the city for a weekend, but they certainly can't escape the drama that follows them wherever they go.
