Ep 9. Birthday in the Berks

The Real Housewives of New York City season 7 episode 9 entitled Birthday in the Berks brings viewers to a weekend trip taken by the cast to the Berkshires to celebrate Dorinda's birthday. Upon arriving, they were greeted by Dorinda's friend, Heather, who made them all wear matching pajamas. However, tensions arose between Sonja and Heather when Heather brought up Sonja's bankruptcy rumors and insinuated that Sonja lives in a delusional world.

Meanwhile, Ramona invited her friend, John, to the trip, much to the dismay of the group, especially Dorinda. John is known for being a bit too touchy, and Dorinda was not comfortable with him being there, especially since Ramona had not asked her beforehand. The group also received a surprise visit from Bethenny, who had been dealing with her own personal issues, and was not originally planning to join them.

As the weekend unfolded, drama continued to ensue. Sonja was upset that Heather was bringing up her financial troubles and told the group that she did not want to discuss it anymore. Ramona got drunk and caused a scene, making an inappropriate comment about John. Bethenny also opened up about her personal struggles and revealed that she had been going through a difficult time.

In the end, amidst all the drama and tension, Dorinda was able to enjoy her birthday celebration with the group, and they all seemed to come to a place of understanding and forgiveness. However, it was clear that this trip would not be easily forgotten, and the relationships between the group members had been tested.
