Ep 4. Doctor, Doctor

The Real Ghostbusters is an American animated television series aired from 1986-1991. The show follows the adventures of four Ghostbusters (Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, Egon Spengler, and Winston Zeddemore) as they travel through different dimensions, time and space to fight ghosts and paranormal activities.

The season 3 episode 4, named Doctor, Doctor, follows the Ghostbusters as they attempt to thwart the latest ghostly menace to invade New York City, in the form of a walking and talking medical bag with a vicious sets of medical instruments as its arms.

The episode begins with the Ghostbusters driving their Ecto-2 to the hospital, hoping to get their broken proton pack repaired. In the hospital waiting room, they see a man rushing in and demanding to see his wife who is in labor. The receptionist tells the man that his wife is not even pregnant. The man insists that his wife is in the delivery room, and he needs to get to her.

The Ghostbusters become suspicious and follow the man to the delivery room, where they spot a Ghost that looks like a walking medical bag hovering over the woman's bed. The Ghostbusters spring into action, ready to bust another ghost. However, the Ghost, who identifies itself as Dr. Destructo, quickly overpowers the Ghostbusters and flees the scene with the pregnant woman.

The Ghostbusters, along with a determined nurse, who thinks that her abducted patient deserves to be rescued, set out to find the elusive Doctor Destructo. They track down the Ghost to a nearby cemetery, where they discover the Ghost using stolen medical instruments to deliver "baby ghosts" from pregnant ghosts, who are held captive inside the building. The babies are then packaged into small containers and sold for profit.

The Ghostbusters plan their attack, but they are met with unexpected complications, as Dr. Destructo unleashes a host of terrifying medical instruments, including a stethoscope that causes severe sonic damage, a syringe that fires acidic goo, and surgical clamps that act like pincers.

Despite the difficult battle, the Ghostbusters successfully free the pregnant ghosts and manage to subdue Dr. Destructo. The team then uses the doctor's medical bag to transport all the baby ghosts back to the hospital, where the Ghostbusters find a way to send the ghosts back to the other side.

The episode closes back at the hospital, with the Ghostbusters thanking the heroic nurse and bidding farewell to the pregnant ghosts, who thank them for their rescue. The team has a new proton pack, which they believe is stronger than ever, and they're ready to take on the next supernatural phenomenon that comes their way.

Overall, Doctor, Doctor is a typical episode of The Real Ghostbusters. It contains all the usual elements, including a unique ghost with a spooky backstory, a dynamic battle scene, and plenty of humor. It's a perfect episode for kids, and it's an entertaining way to spend 30 minutes.
