Weiyoung's sister, Chang Le, is also worried about her whereabouts. Although she is jealous of Weiyoung and resentful of her success, she still cares for her family and wants to ensure that her sister is safe. Chang Le tries to help her mother in the search for Weiyoung, but is also dealing with her own personal issues. She is engaged to marry a man she does not love, and is struggling to come to terms with the fact that she will be trapped in a loveless marriage.

As the episode comes to a close, Weiyoung and Du Mingli are reunited. They both realize that they need each other in order to succeed in their mission. Weiyoung is determined to clear the name of her father and restore her family's honor, while Du Mingli has his own agenda. He is a mysterious and enigmatic man, and Weiyoung is not sure if she can trust him completely. But for now, they are both united in their fight for survival.
