Episode 16 of The Princess Weiyoung starts off with Li Min De, the Liang Prince Consort, revealing to his mother that Lirong had approached him with a deal. He explains that Lirong wants to overthrow Emperor Gong, and in return, she promises to help him ascend to the throne. Li Min De, although initially hesitant, agrees to the plan, considering the potential benefits it could bring him.

Meanwhile, Xuanji and Li Weiyoung are on their way to meet Xie Ji An, who has crucial information about the secret alliance between Li Min De and Lirong.
