Jaroldo! is the fifteenth episode of the first season of The Pretender. In this episode, Jarod takes a job at Rafesco Chemicals to investigate a fatal chemical spill that resulted in the deaths of several employees. Jarod befriends a co-worker named Emily, who helps him in his investigation.
Meanwhile, Sydney and Miss Parker receive a tip from a source about a shipment of weapons that is going to be transported through Blue Cove. They suspect that the shipment is connected to the Centre and decide to investigate.
As Jarod digs deeper into the chemical spill, he uncovers a conspiracy involving the company's CEO, Darryl Becker, who is more interested in profit than the safety of his workers. Jarod and Emily discover that the chemical spill was caused by a faulty valve that Becker refused to replace, despite knowing the danger it posed.
Sydney and Miss Parker's investigation of the weapon shipment leads them to a warehouse owned by the Centre. They discover that the weapons were intended for a group of terrorists who are planning an attack on a U.S. embassy overseas.
As the episode progresses, Jarod and Emily get closer to uncovering the truth about the chemical spill, but they are caught by Becker, who holds them at gunpoint. Sydney and Miss Parker arrive just in time to save Jarod and Emily from Becker. They also intercept the weapons shipment, preventing the terrorist attack.
In the end, Jarod leaves Rafesco Chemicals and bids farewell to Emily, who gives him a keychain as a token of their friendship. The episode ends with Jarod watching a news report about the terrorist attack that was prevented, before disappearing to continue his quest to uncover his past and bring justice to those who have been wronged.
Overall, Jaroldo! is a thrilling episode with multiple storylines that keep the audience on the edge of their seats. The episode also touches on the themes of corporate greed and the consequences of neglecting safety regulations in the workplace. As usual, the performances of the cast are impressive, particularly the chemistry between Michael T. Weiss as Jarod and Andrea Parker as Miss Parker.
