As she cooks up a storm, Ree shares stories about the birthday celebrations she’s had with her family over the years. We learn about the various traditions they’ve established, like the birthday person getting to choose their favorite meal and dessert, and how Ree’s own June birthday always seems to sneak up on her.
With the food prepped, Ree turns her attention to decor. She shows viewers how to create simple yet festive table settings using fresh flowers and colorful placemats. She also sets up a drink station featuring a refreshing raspberry lemonade, complete with a fun and festive sign.
As guests begin to arrive, Ree greets them with hugs and introductions. We meet her husband Ladd, her kids Paige, Bryce, Todd and Alex, and a few other family members and friends. As they sit down to eat, Ree reflects on how grateful she is for her family and how lucky she feels to have so many people to celebrate with.
As the party winds down, Ree serves up slices of her impressive berry tiramisu. Everyone is impressed with the beautiful layers and fresh berry flavor. Ree takes a moment to thank her family for coming and for being such an integral part of her life.
In the final moments of the episode, Ree cleans up the kitchen and flashes back to her own childhood birthdays.
