In episode 30 of The Penguins of Madagascar season 1, titled "Tagged," the four penguins - Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, and Private - decide to play a game of tag. However, things quickly go awry when they accidentally tag a grumpy old lady, Ms. Turtledove, who is not amused by their antics.
Meanwhile, Dr. Blowhole, the show's villainous dolphin, has developed a device that can turn anyone into his mindless robotic minions. He sends a group of lobsters to steal some equipment from the zoo, but the penguins are able to thwart their plan. However, in the chaos, Rico accidentally swallows the device Dr. Blowhole was after.
Unbeknownst to the penguins, the device activates inside Rico and he starts acting strangely. The rest of the penguins assume he is just really into the game of tag and continue playing, but soon they realize something is off when Rico starts to attack them. They tie him up and try to figure out what's going on, but before they can get to the bottom of it, Dr. Blowhole captures them and takes them to his lair.
In his lair, Dr. Blowhole reveals his plan to turn all of the penguins and their zoo friends into his minions using the device inside Rico. But when he activates the device, it doesn't work - turns out, Rico's stomach acid had destroyed it. The penguins take advantage of the confusion and manage to escape.
Back at the zoo, they discover that Ms. Turtledove has also been turned into one of Dr. Blowhole's minions. They use their quick thinking and teamwork to reverse the effects of the mind control device on Ms. Turtledove and all the other zoo animals who have been affected.
In the end, the penguins come to the realization that playing tag recklessly can have more serious consequences than they had realized. They apologize to Ms. Turtledove and promise to be more mindful of their actions in the future. And, as always, they remain on guard for the next time Dr. Blowhole tries to cause trouble.
Overall, "Tagged" is a thrilling and action-packed episode of The Penguins of Madagascar, with plenty of humor and heartwarming moments to balance out the danger and adventure. Fans of the show will enjoy seeing their favorite penguins in yet another exciting adventure, and newcomers to the series will find plenty to love about these quirky and lovable characters.
