In The Penguins of Madagascar season 1 episode 22, titled "Roomies", the four penguins- Skipper, Kowalski, Rico, and Private- find themselves in a bit of a predicament when their habitat is destroyed. Desperate for a place to stay, they decide to move into the neighboring lemur habitat, much to the dismay of their new roommates, King Julien, Maurice, and Mort.
Initially, Skipper tries to make the best of the situation, insisting that they "play nice" with their lemur neighbors, but tensions start to rise when the penguins' military-like lifestyle clashes with the laid-back, party-loving lemurs. Skipper and King Julien quickly become rivals, each trying to outdo the other in a series of ridiculous challenges.
Meanwhile, Kowalski and Maurice attempt to coexist peacefully, but the constant tinkering and experimenting from Kowalski's latest inventions lead to some disastrous results. Rico takes a liking to Mort, the smallest and meekest of the lemurs, and tries to toughen him up with some of his own training techniques.
As the episode progresses, the situation in the lemur habitat becomes increasingly chaotic, with the penguins and lemurs each trying to prove their dominance. But it all comes to a head when a group of mysterious, dangerous animals known as "the red squirrel commandos" invade the zoo and threaten to harm all of the animals.
Despite their differences, including his annoyance with Julien's antics and slothful ways, Skipper realizes that they must work together to defeat the common enemy. The penguins and the lemurs join forces, combining their unique skills and abilities to take down the red squirrel commandos and save their home.
In the end, the penguins and lemurs come to appreciate each other's strengths and weaknesses, and even develop a newfound sense of camaraderie. They decide to continue living together, and share a big group hug as the episode comes to a close.
Overall, "Roomies" is a fun and chaotic episode that showcases the unlikely alliance between two very different groups of animals. With plenty of humor, action, and heart, it's one of the standout episodes of the series and a must-watch for fans of The Penguins of Madagascar.
