Ep 2. Launchtime

In The Penguins of Madagascar season 1 episode 2, titled "Launchtime," the four penguins- Skipper, Kowalski, Private, and Rico – are eager to launch their newest invention, the "Cheesy Dibbles" slingshot, into action. He is determined to one-up the Penguins' launch by unveiling his own "Boom Box" that he thinks will light up the party and earn him the title of "King of the Zoo."

The Penguins soon realize that their Cheesy Dibbles have fallen into the wrong hands, and they go undercover as lemurs to retrieve the pellets before they can be devoured. The Chimpanzees taunt the Penguins by launching the Cheesy Dibbles back at them, causing a chaotic battle between the two groups.

Amidst the chaos, Julien's Boom Box malfunctions, and the lemurs' party comes to a screeching halt. The Penguins come to the rescue by launching Julien's Boom Box in the air with the Cheesy Dibbles slingshot, causing the Boom Box to explode in a burst of colors and music. The Penguins save the day by launching the Chimpanzees back into their habitat and returning the stolen Cheesy Dibbles to their rightful owners.

The episode ends with King Julien, grateful to the Penguins for saving his party, declaring the Penguins to be his "dance party besties." Meanwhile, the Penguins realize that their Cheesy Dibbles invention was flawed and they set out to perfect it for their next launch attempt.
