The Other Guy is a comedy-drama television series that premiered on Stan in 2017. The show, which is co-written by and stars Australian comedian Matt Okine, follows the story of a young radio host named AJ Amon, who struggles to find his footing after his girlfriend cheats on him.

At the beginning of the show, AJ is living in a state of denial, still convinced that his girlfriend Liv (played by Valene Kane) will come back to him. But as he tries to move on with his life, he finds himself in a series of awkward and often hilarious situations that force him to confront his own flaws and insecurities.
