Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne attempt to get their unruly dogs under control in the second episode of the hit reality series, The Osbournes. The episode, titled "Bark at the Moon," follows the family as they try to find a way to curb their dogs' destructive behavior.
The episode begins with Sharon and Ozzy discussing their dogs' recent misbehavior. The couple has four dogs - two bulldogs and two Pomeranians - and all of them have been causing chaos around the house. The bulldogs, Lola and Rocky, are particularly difficult to handle. They have been chewing on everything in sight, including Sharon's expensive shoes and Ozzy's prized guitar.
Sharon decides to hire a dog trainer to help get their pets under control. The trainer, named Tony, arrives at the house and immediately begins assessing the situation. He watches the dogs' behavior and gives Sharon and Ozzy tips on how to properly train them.
Tony suggests that they start by establishing themselves as the pack leaders. This means that the dogs need to see Sharon and Ozzy as the ones in charge. They need to be firm with the dogs and assert their dominance. Tony also suggests that they implement a strict routine for the dogs. This includes feeding them at certain times and taking them out for walks at the same time every day.
The family begins to implement these changes, but they quickly discover that it's easier said than done. Lola and Rocky continue to cause chaos around the house, and the Pomeranians, Billy and Bella, are no better. They constantly bark and whine, driving everyone crazy.
As the days go by, the family starts to see some progress. The dogs are beginning to understand the routine and are starting to listen to Sharon and Ozzy's commands. However, there are still moments of chaos. Lola and Rocky continue to chew on everything in sight, and the Pomeranians still bark incessantly.
One day, Sharon decides to take matters into her own hands. She enlists the help of a dog trainer friend, who has a reputation for being tough on dogs. The trainer, named Colleen, arrives at the house and immediately begins pushing the dogs to their limits. She makes Lola and Rocky run up and down the stairs until they're exhausted, and she makes Billy and Bella sit quietly for long periods of time.
The family is horrified by Colleen's methods, but they can't deny that the dogs are responding to her. Lola and Rocky seem tired but calmer, and Billy and Bella are quiet for once.
Sharon and Ozzy are torn about what to do next. They don't want to hurt their dogs, but they also want to see them behave properly. In the end, they decide that Tony's more gentle approach is the best one.
The family continues to work with Tony, and slowly but surely, they see changes in their dogs' behavior. Lola and Rocky still have moments of chaos, but they're no longer destroying everything in sight. Billy and Bella still bark, but they're starting to understand that they need to be quiet when Sharon and Ozzy say so.
The episode ends with Sharon and Ozzy feeling hopeful about their dogs' future. They know that it's going to be a long road, but they're committed to helping their pets become the best versions of themselves.
