Oscar and Felix have an important job in the upcoming wedding of their good friends, Emily and Roy. Emily is a friend of Felix's, while Roy has been Oscar's buddy since their time together on the high school basketball team. Although they are both thrilled to be a part of the special day, Felix's anxious nature gets the best of him as he attempts to ensure that Emily has the perfect wedding.
As the wedding approaches, Felix becomes more and more fixated on every detail of the event. He spends hours agonizing over napkin choices and obsessing over the floral arrangements. Oscar, on the other hand, takes a more relaxed approach, leaving most of the wedding planning to Felix. However, this leads to a conflict between the two as Oscar feels that Felix is taking over too much and not allowing him to be a valuable team player in the wedding preparations.
As their disagreement escalates, the two men begin to question their friendship and whether they can continue to work together on such an important occasion. Their friction starts to boil over in the middle of the wedding planner's office as they both bicker over silly details that do not seem to matter to anyone but Felix. Will they be able to put aside their differences and make the special day perfect for their friends or will their arguments finally drive them apart?
Meanwhile, Emily has her own doubts about the wedding. She struggles with the possibility that Roy might not be the one for her. She keeps her grandmothers "something blue" with her at all times, and it seems to give her comfort and guidance throughout the entire process. But will this be enough for her to take the ultimate plunge and tie the knot with Roy?
Overall, the episode "I Do, I Don't" tackles the classic themes of friendship, love, and loyalty. The audience witnesses a valuable lesson in the importance of communication and teamwork in any relationship, particularly an important one like the bond of friendship. Set against a backdrop of a joyous occasion, the heartwarming narrative of this episode exemplifies the fact that it's never too late to alter the course of the future and make a change for the better.
