The Octonauts season 1 episode 26, entitled "The Beluga Whales," follows the crew of the Octopod as they embark on a mission to save a group of stranded beluga whales. After receiving a distress call from a group of beluga whales who have become trapped in a narrow channel, Captain Barnacles, Kwazii, and Peso set out in their Gup-A to rescue the whales and bring them to safety.

As the crew approaches the narrow channel, they encounter a group of narwhals who warn them of the dangerous currents that lie ahead. Despite the warning, the Octonauts press on and manage to navigate the treacherous waters to reach the stranded beluga whales.

To rescue the whales, the Octonauts must work together to create a diversion and lead them out of the channel. With the help of Shellington and Tweak, who use their scientific knowledge to devise a plan, the Octonauts set to work diverting the current to create a safe passage for the whales.

But as they work to save the whales, the Octonauts encounter a new challenge in the form of a group of hungry orcas who are hunting for food in the area. Captain Barnacles must think quickly to protect the beluga whales and ensure that they make it to safety.

Despite the danger, the Octonauts succeed in their mission and are able to safely lead the beluga whales out of the channel and back into the open sea. As they bid farewell to the grateful whales, the crew reflects on the importance of working together, using their skills and knowledge to help those in need, and respecting the delicate balance of life in the ocean.

Overall, "The Beluga Whales" is a thrilling and heartwarming episode that highlights the bravery, ingenuity, and compassion of the Octonauts crew as they work together to save the lives of these magnificent creatures.
