In season two episode six of The Oath (2018), titled Judas, the Ravens begin to suspect that the cartel is working with law enforcement in their efforts to take them down. Steve Hammond (Ryan Kwanten) and his team initiate a plan to infiltrate the cartel and find out who the informant is.
As they continue their investigation, they discover that one of their own may be working with the enemy. The team is torn as they struggle with their loyalty to one another and the mission at hand. They must decide whether or not to pursue the informant and risk losing one of their own in the process.
Meanwhile, Karen Beach (Katrina Law) continues to work on her investigation of the Ravens. She seems to be getting closer to finding evidence that will put them away for good. However, her personal life becomes a distraction as she tries to deal with her complicated relationship with Hammond.
The tension continues to rise as the Ravens and the cartel engage in a dangerous game of cat and mouse. Betrayals and double crosses abound as they each try to gain the upper hand. In the end, the Ravens will have to decide just how far they are willing to go in order to protect their own.
