This disagreement leads to a heated argument that could jeopardize the team's cohesion, but they ultimately decide to follow Tom's lead.

The Ravens split up to gather information and resources for their next move, and in doing so, we see a more in-depth exploration of each member's personality and motivations. Dash (Armen Nahapetian) and Karen (Katrina Law) team up to infiltrate a local gang that may have information on the cartel. Their dynamic is interesting, with Dash representing the young, naive cop, and Karen the seasoned veteran with a no-nonsense attitude.

Meanwhile, Cole and Steve (Cory Hardrict) go on a dangerous mission to retrieve weapons from a shady arms dealer. This scene adds some extra tension to the episode, with the duo on edge as they navigate through the dealer's lair. The scene is punctuated by some witty banter between Cole and Steve, adding some levity to the otherwise serious tone.

As the Ravens continue their investigative work, they find themselves in some precarious situations, with the cartel closing in. The show does an excellent job of ramping up the tension, with the characters' survival constantly in question. This is further exacerbated by a surprise twist towards the end of the episode, which leaves the Ravens in an even more vulnerable position.

Overall, "Hunted" is an exhilarating episode that highlights the show's strengths, including its action sequences, dynamic characters, and intricate plot. It is an excellent midseason entry that sets the stage for a thrilling second half of the season.
