As a nurse, Anne has always been very dedicated to her work, putting the needs of her patients before anything else. She's a strong, compassionate and hardworking woman. However, when a pandemic hits Denmark, Anne finds herself struggling to balance her work with her personal life.

In the midst of this chaos, Anne meets Johanne, a somewhat mysterious and enigmatic woman who seems to have a deep connection with Anne's patients. Despite her initial skepticism, Anne is drawn to Johanne's calming and reassuring presence, as she navigates her way through the emotional turmoil of her job.
