Ep 3. Trendy Dinner

In The Next Food Network Star season 11, episode 3 titled "Trendy Dinner," the remaining contestants face a new challenge. Aspiring chefs must cook trendy dishes for a dinner party hosted by "Food Network Star" alum Damaris Phillips.

The contestants are given the task to create a three-course dinner menu that showcases the latest food trends. Chef mentors Giada De Laurentiis and Bobby Flay guide the contestants in making their menus and provide advice on how to make each dish stand out.

The contestants are divided into two teams. They have to work together in the kitchen to create a harmonious menu that expresses their team dynamic. One team creates a menu that features dishes that are inspired by Asian fusion cuisine, while the other team opts for modern twists on traditional Italian dishes.

As the contestants start cooking, tensions rise in the kitchen. Some of the contestants struggle to impress the judges, while some push their creativity to the extreme. One team member burns their dish, and another contestant cut themselves while preparing the ingredients.

Later, Damaris Phillips arrives to taste the dishes and meet the contestants. The chefs have to present their creations to Phillips and the judges, including Giada De Laurentiis, Bobby Flay, and Duff Goldman. The judges then provide feedback and critique the dishes.

During the dinner party, the contestants serve their dishes to the guests, who then rate their favorite dish. The team with the most votes wins the challenge, and one member of the losing team will be sent home.

Throughout the episode, the chefs face numerous challenges both in and out of the kitchen. From team dynamics to creative dish ideas, they must work hard to stand out and impress the judges, as the competition gets tougher each week.
