Ep 11. Owl's Well That Ends Well
- October 7, 1991
Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit, Kanga, and Roo eagerly await their friend Owl's return to the Hundred Acre Wood. However, when Owl finally arrives, he is sporting a strange new attitude and a fancy new pair of glasses that make him look smarter than ever before. Owl insists that he has been studying hard and that he is now an expert on everything from mathematics to ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics.
The other residents of the Hundred Acre Wood are impressed by Owl's newfound knowledge, but they soon begin to feel left out when Owl spends all his time studying and refuses to engage in any of their normal activities. Even worse, when Owl tries to help his friends, he ends up causing more harm than good - like ruining Roo's game of hide-and-seek and causing a giant rock slide in Rabbit's garden.
Eventually, Owl's friends become so fed up with his behavior that they decide to take matters into their own hands. With the help of some clever planning and a few well-timed distractions, they manage to convince Owl to take a break from his studies and come outside to play. Once outside, Owl quickly realizes that there is much more to life than just studying, and he finally begins to enjoy the company of his friends once again.
In the end, Owl realizes that a balanced life is key to happiness and success, and he decides to start studying a bit less and spending more time having fun with his friends. The episode ends with the group gathered together, telling stories and enjoying each other's company, with Owl happily joining in on the fun.
