It originally aired from 1993 to 1997, and starred Teri Hatcher as Lois Lane, Lane Smith as Perry White, Dean Cain as Clark Kent/Superman, Justin Whalin as Jimmy Olsen, K Callan as Martha Kent, Eddie Jones as Jonathan Kent, Michael Landes as Jimmy Olsen (season 1), John Shea as Lex Luthor, and Tracy Scoggins as Cat Grant.

Set in the fictional city of Metropolis, the series follows the adventures of Clark Kent/Superman, a powerful alien superhero who uses his vast array of extraordinary abilities to protect the people of his adopted homeworld from all manner of threats. Lois is caught, tied to a pillar and gagged, and Rucas activates an Inca Statue to crush her.

When he also must find a man and woman for repopulation, Brainiac ends up shrinking and capturing Superman and Lois.

The fusion of two irradiated pieces of space debris fatefully changes a chimpanzee named Toto on board a space craft. Saboteurs have rigged gigantic icebergs with explosives to rob a luxury liner.
