Ep 2. School of Cool

In "The New Adventures of Figaro Pho" season 1 episode 2 titled "School of Cool," Figaro Pho is nervous about his first day of Cool School. This school is no ordinary institution. It's a place where kids are trained to be cool. Everyone there seems to have their own cool trait, like a girl who can play the guitar upside down or a boy who can juggle flaming sticks.

Figaro is afraid he doesn't have what it takes to be cool. To make matters worse, he accidentally breaks the prized trophy of the cool school, the "Golden Sunglasses." He tries to glue it back together, but it falls apart in the classroom just as the teacher, Mr. Coolcat, walks in.

Mr. Coolcat is not pleased that Figaro has broken the trophy. He tells Figaro that he must find a replacement by the end of the day, or he will be kicked out of the school. Figaro is determined to find a replacement, but he has no idea where to begin.

He starts asking his classmates for help, but they all seem too cool to care. He even asks the girl who can play the guitar upside down, but she simply shrugs and says, "It's not my problem." Figaro starts to feel hopeless. Maybe he's just not cool enough for this school.

As the day goes on, Figaro tries several different ways to find a replacement trophy. He goes on a wild goose chase, running from one end of the school to the other. He even sneaks into Mr. Coolcat's office, hoping to find a spare trophy, but all he finds is a dusty old hat.

Figaro starts to give up, but then he has an idea. He realizes that he can use his creativity to make a new trophy. He gathers up some materials, like paper clips and glue, and starts putting them together. It's not perfect, but it's the best he can do.

When he presents the new trophy to Mr. Coolcat, the teacher is not impressed. He tells Figaro that the trophy is not good enough and that he will still be kicked out of the school. But then, something amazing happens. Figaro's classmates start to stand up for him. They tell Mr. Coolcat that Figaro worked hard to find a replacement and that his effort should be appreciated.

Mr. Coolcat eventually relents and allows Figaro to stay in the school. Figaro is overjoyed and grateful to his friends. He still doesn't feel like he's the coolest kid in school, but he's learned that being cool is not just about having talent or a unique skill. It's also about being kind and working hard.
