Ep 5. Episode 5

1943. Dorrigo is informed by Nakamura that one hundred men must march many miles to assist in the construction of another part of the railway line. Dorrigo is then made to choose which men are to go, knowing that the journey will kill most of the starving and exhausted men, who currently stand before him, resembling death. Dorrigo reluctantly selects the POWs, condemning one hundred men to their death. But before they go, each prisoner makes their way to shake Dorrigo
