Ep 15. The Subterranean Secret

In The Mysterious Cities Of Gold season 1 episode 15, titled "The Subterranean Secret," we see our main characters Esteban, Tao, and Zia continuing their journey to find the cities of gold. The group meets up with a new guide, a man named Pedro, who leads them into the depths of the earth to find a hidden passage.

Once they arrive at the entrance, they discover that the passage leads to a secret underground city that has been abandoned for centuries. The city is full of ancient ruins and artifacts, and the group starts to explore the area. They soon come across a large temple and find evidence of human sacrifices that were once performed there. One of the walls in the temple is covered in mysterious glyphs that nobody can decipher.

They find a raft and decide to explore the river, hoping that it will lead them closer to their destination. As they float along, they discover that the river is full of obstacles and dangers, including rocks, rapids, and a giant underground waterfall.

Despite the challenges, the group manages to navigate the river and come out on the other side in a new part of the underground city. Here they find evidence of a once-thriving civilization that has long since disappeared, including a vast network of tunnels and caverns.

As they explore further, they begin to uncover clues about the city's past – including evidence of an ancient war and a connection to the legendary cities of gold. But they soon learn that they are not alone in the underground city. Mysterious figures begin to stalk them, and the group realizes that they must be cautious and stay together if they hope to survive.

As they make their way deeper into the city, they discover a massive underground chamber that seems to be the heart of the civilization. There they find an enormous statue that holds a clue to the location of the first city of gold. However, they quickly discover that they are not the only ones looking for the statue and must fight to keep it out of the wrong hands.
