Kermit is feeling lonely on Christmas Eve as he realizes he is the only one who is currently single. Meanwhile, the rest of the gang is excited as they prepare to spend the holidays with their loved ones.
In an attempt to lift Kermit's spirits, the group decides to set him up on a blind date. However, the plan spirals out of control as the Muppets try to find the perfect match for Kermit.
Throughout the episode, the audience will see the hilarious mishaps that occur as Kermit's friends try to find him love. The group separates to go on different missions to pair Kermit with someone, with Fozzie and Gonzo posing as Christmas elves, and Pepe and Rizzo disguising themselves as restaurant staff.
Meanwhile, Miss Piggy finds herself struggling with her own love life. She becomes jealous when she discovers that Kermit is going on a date and decides to make him jealous by bringing her new beau, actor Josh Groban, to the Christmas party.

The episode ends with a heartwarming moment as Kermit and his new love interest share a kiss under the mistletoe, and Miss Piggy comes to terms with the fact that Kermit has moved on.
