Ep 9. The Convention

Frankie and Mike head to Des Moines for the annual Heck family reunion. Meanwhile, Axl and his friends attempt to organize a conventional party in the Heck house, and Sue tries to convince Uncle Rusty to attend the convention with her. When they arrive at the convention, Mike and Frankie discover that they have to share a single hotel room with their own parents and other relatives, complicating things. Despite this, they resolve to make the best of the situation and try to enjoy themselves. Meanwhile, Axl and his friends experience various disasters trying to put together the party, and Sue is struggling to get Uncle Rusty on board with attending the convention. The episode concludes with the entire Heck family getting into a massive family feud over whether or not Uncle Rusty should come to the convention.
