Ep 11. A Quarry Story

In the season 6 episode 11 of The Middle named A Quarry Story, the Heck family goes on a camping trip over Christmas to celebrate Sue's newfound success in school. The family must deal with the harsh winter weather and lack of modern amenities while trying to enjoy their time together in the great outdoors. Meanwhile, brick has to write a paper on an event in history, but ends up getting too invested in the story and accidentally becomes a bit too violent in his telling of it. Frankie and Mike catch wind of this, and must work with Brick to help him loosen up and write a more appropriate paper. Elsewhere, Axl, who joins his friends and their girlfriends for a camping trip, must navigate his rocky relationship with Devin, who seems unsure of her commitment to their future. Through all the ups and downs of camping in the winter wilderness, the Heck family and their friends must learn to rely on each other and make the most of what they have.
